I just came back from my holiday overseas. I was so used to non-reality, that when I woke up the next morning, the realisation that I had work to complete hit me like a punch in the face.(without the pain, of course) Anyways, I have completed most of my school holiday homework. I can still remember my last thoughts before I left the resort for the airport-

As I watch the sunset

I could do nothing

But watch

and wish I could stay longer.

As one of the June holiday assignments I got from school, I had to do a 'bibliography'. To put it simply, I just had to do a summary of all the sources of information I had relating to the chosen topic. After much thought, I chose the topic of gaming addiction. After doing some research on it, it got me thinking. I have never known anyone who got hooked on gaming, but I heard from a close friend of mine about how his cousin got hooked on MapleStory. I too play Maple (I can't deny that), and I know a lot of people who do. But the thing is, I don't think I could sit in front of a computer screen for five hours straight, gaming the whole time. Firstly, my legs would ache A LOT after sitting down for so long. Secondly, I don't usually have that much free time on my hands. Either way, I have one thing to say-don't get hooked on gaming.

Hi everyone. I was sent the funny table you see below this message through my email from a friend. By completing all of the instructions on this list correctly, you should come up with a funny sentence, depending on certain variables such as your date of birth or even what colour the clothes you are wearing are. I found it quite funny. Enjoy! :)

Yes, it is I again. Today I heard from a friend of mine about a game called Gears Of War 2. I am not totally sure that this is true or not, but from what I hear, it is supposed to continue the storyline from the original Gears Of War. I have played the original Gears Of War before and I must say, I give it a two thumbs up. The game is made for the Xbox 360 and has very good graphics. The storyline is quite interesting. I would reccomend my friends to get it.

Hi everyone! Sorry that its been a long time since my last post. I've been kind of busy with school and that kind of stuff. Anyway, its the school holidays now so I will have a lot of time on my hands. As might be expected, whenever there are holidays, there is holiday homework, which, in my opinion, is like having to do work on an off day. Very ironic. However, I planned out my holidays such that I only have to do one piece of work a day to get all of my homework done. I don't mean to say that I have one piece of homework for every day of my holidays. I only have to do one piece of work a day for about one more week. I think the plan really helps to break up my homework, which makes it easier to complete.

Hi everyone! My name is Scott. I live in Singapore and go to SJI. In this post of mine I would like to tell you about one of the most memorable events that I have had this year. You are probably wondering what I am refering to. Well, it is my Secondary 1 Orientation Camp. It was held shortly after I started school in SJI, which was in January.

On the first day of the camp, all the students reported to school at normal time and proceeded for the morning assembly. We then proceeded to our respective classes, where we were divided into groups and met up with our peer support leaders, who were in charge of our groups. After that, each secondary one group, led by their PSLs, were led to their rooms. We unpacked and went to the lecture theatre for a pre-camp briefing. After that, we went for breakfast. When returned to the lecture theatre, we were told we were going to watch a movie. It was called 'Remember The Titans'. I found it inspiring.

After the movie, we were briefed on the activities planned out for us that day. Then, our PSLs brought us around the school, to the various game stations. It was very fun. Many of the activities were supposed to build up our team spirit. However, we stopped for a lunch break halfway through it. By the time we were done with those activities we proceeded back to the room provided for our group, Glauben, collected our towels and a change of clothes and went to the shower rooms to take a quick shower. I found it quite refreshing as it had been very hot during the day. We proceeded back to our room quickly, as we had heard that dinner was ready, placed our used clothes there, grabbed our flashlights and went for dinner.

Dinner was, indeed, delicious. We had a variety of Chinese dishes, including egg tofu, which was one of my favourite dishes of the entire meal. After that, I walked together with the rest of my group, to one of the last activities of the day. We headed up to ur school library, also known as the Beurel. We soon found out that we had to go on a small 'Amazing Race' around the school. However, my group did not win. Nevertheless, everyone found it very fun to run around the school at night equipped only with torches. After that, we proceeded to the lecture theatre for a singing session, our last activity for the day. In the end, we went to sleep only at three o'clock the next morning.

We were woken up at seven o'clock that morning by our PSLs. We followed the schedule planned out for us. We had breakfast, proceeded to the last few game stations and returned to our rooms for a reflection session. However, I had to leave early because I had to attend an important prize presentation ceremony. I felt slightly sad to leave the camp early but felt happy that I was going to receive an award.
